Block Island:


Block Island has a land mass of approximately 11 square miles and is almost equidistant between Point Judith RI and Montauk NY. Initially inhabited by the Manisiss Indians it was officially settled in 1661.Roughly 43% of the Island is protected by various conservancy groups. Often called the Bermuda of the north, Block Island is renowned for its pristine beaches on the east cost and its dynamic bluffs on the south side of the island.
